ÁNIMA · Guest Edition — September 10
Featuring Guest Artist Jeh
September 10, 2026 · 7–9 PM
Sakala · Denver, CO
ÁNIMA is an embodied movement experience rooted in breath + presence.
A space to explore the body through slow, intentional movement, strength, softness, sensuality, dance and play.
THE EXPERIENCE
We begin by tuning into our inner environment.
Through conscious breath and slow somatic movement, we bring our attention into the body—moving through a fluid combination of yoga-inspired positions, strengthening movements, hip mobility and sensual movement.
For this first ÁNIMA, a special guest will guide us through a dance sequence. We'll learn, follow and move together before letting go of some of that structure and creating space to improvise, play and make the movement our own.
No perfection.
Just an invitation to inhabit your body, to feel it, trust it, and let yourself be fully expressed.
And somewhere between the two, we meet parts of ourselves still waiting to be experienced.
We’ll close in Savasana, allowing the body to completely surrender as sound creates space for the nervous system to settle, rest and restore.
WHO CAN EXPERIENCE ÁNIMA?
ÁNIMA is open to both women and men.
You don't need to know how to dance.
You don't need yoga experience.
You don't need to be flexible.
You simply need to be willing to explore your body, your breath and your own way of moving.
Bring your strength.
Bring your softness.
Bring your sensuality.
Throughout the experience, you're always invited to listen to your body. Modify a movement, slow down, rest or pause whenever your body asks you to.
